Mountain Chefs Chalet Cookery courses are known for producing
the highest quality chalet staff. We offer a number of cookery
courses to suit your needs and budget. Upon completion of
all of our chalet cookery courses, we will assess you and
recommend you apply for the positions to which you are best
suited and that will meet your needs and skills. Please ring

Chef Gourmet Course
Our flagship two and three week Chalet Chef gourmet cookery
course is perfect for those who love to cook and would like
to become accomplished at the art gourmet cuisine preparation
and presentation. It is ideal for those seeking to become
responsible for chalet cooking for the ski season. The two
and three week courses cover the same materials as the one
week course, but provides more extensive practical chalet
cookery training with more complicated dishes being taught
during the third week.
We encourage those with a keen interest in food and a desire
to work with a good ski company to apply for this course.
We will assess you and recommend you to the positions to which
you are best suited and that will meet your needs in terms
of location and size of company.
We recommend that 18 year old Gap Year students take our 2
week Chalet Chef course in order to gain the most thorough
training thereby ensuring the best chance at gaining a Chalet
Chef position for the season.
Chalet Chef Short Course – 1
week
The Chalet Chef Short Course is perfect for those who love
people and want to work a ski season as a Chalet Host, Chalet
Cook or Chalet Assistant. This cookery course will teach you
how to prepare, present and serve gourmet cuisine preparation
allowing you to run a successful chalet. Our Head Chef has
worked many successful ski seasons and will pass on to you
all of his experience, menus and short cuts thereby allowing
you more time on the slopes. In addition, you will receive
Level 2 Kitchen Health and Safety accreditation.
We encourage those with a keen interest in cooking and mountain
living and a desire to meet new people and work with a good
ski company to apply for this course.
